Here’s a new line from Nissin Singapore – their premium Japanese ramen. There are two of them: this is Kyushu Black and the other one called Tokyo Shoyu.
The key to Nissin’s Kyushu Black is a packet of black garlic oil, made from roasting garlic and black sesame seeds in oil till it turns black. The additional seasoning provides a totally different dimension with its full-bodied, roasted and almost nutty flavour.
The noodles are round and have a very good texture – definitely premium. Elastic and chewy with a nice bounce. The broth is wonderful balance flavour with right amount of oil to make things a little nicer.
